| Abstract: | Interactive board software was designed to constructively support the work of the educator, who uses the interactive board for the teaching of the course. It is in full correspondence not only to the teaching of the course. It is in full correspondence to the general philosophical frame, but also to the aims (cognitive, emotional, psychomotor) of the Greek Interdisciplinary Unified Framework Syllabus and Curriculum. It does not intend to substitute the official educational packs. It constitutes a unique project and aspires to positively boost the teaching process into the classroom, enriching it with interesting, playful and innovative activities, which are characterized of great variety and are largely interactive and team-cooperative. Furthermore, it aspires to maximize the learning benefits of the children, while at the same time facilitating the work of the educator and leading it to contemporary directions.
Due to pluralism, it can be easily used not only in Greece, but also in any classroom of any country, where Universal Geography is instructed with the use of interactive board to students of ages between 12 and 15 years old. This is due to the fact that for its creation bothhave been adopted, among others, educatonal material design specifications for Open and Distance Learning and utilization specifications of Information Communicating Technologies in the teaching process.
